Description

Clavularia sp. are soft corals from the Clavulariidae family that originate in the Indo-Pacific. Also known as “Clove Polyps”, these corals have lavender pink stems with neon jade-green leafy tentacles and a light pink polyp center. Each Clavularia tentacle is surrounded by feathery “leaf-like” fronds, making them appear underwater like palm trees blowing in the wind. These passive and fast-growing corals need at least 4 inches of space between themselves and other corals. Clove Polyps coral will thrive with the addition of iodine and other trace elements and weekly feedings of micro-plankton.
